New series in January and February on Netflix
For series fans, January has actually been a good month for Netflix so far. Among other things, the 2nd season of “Vikings: Valhalla” and the season finale of “Sky Rojo” are running on the streaming service. With “Kaleidoskop”, an exciting series with Giancarlo Esposito has also started, which is pursuing a new concept. But some highlights are already known for February. Among other things, the first part of the new fourth season of “You” is running on Netflix.

Kaleidoscope (Season 1) – Coming January 1st
A master thief plans a heist with his crew. Interesting new Netflix series starring Giancarlo Esposito, eight episodes of which you can watch in any order.
Vikings: Valhalla (Season 2) – starting January 12
The “Vikings” spin-off enters the second round. Around 100 years after the events of the mother series, everything revolves around the Icelander Leif Erikson, who is looking for a way west across the sea.
Alchemy of Souls (Season 1 Part 2) – Coming January 21st

You (Season 4 Part 1) – Coming February 9th
Fans had to wait more than a year for the new season of the controversial series “You”. Joe (Paul Bedgley) is now in London, living under the alibi of Professor Jonathan Moore. There he is looking for Marienne (Tati Gabrielle), who now knows that he is a stalker and murderer…
The Law According to Lidia Poët (Season 1) – out February 15
The new Netflix series “The Law According to Lidia Poët” is based on real events. It tells the story of Italy’s first female lawyer.
New movies in January and February on Netflix
In December, Netflix traditionally gets very Christmassy again. The streaming service is once again producing many romantic comedies with a Christmas flair this year. There are also highlights such as the “Pinocchio” film by star director Guillermo del Toro.
Dead Woman (Season 1) – starting January 5th
In this Austro-German crime series starring Anna Maria Mühe, a wife tries to unravel the mysteries surrounding her husband’s death. The series is based on the successful novel of the same name.
The Memorable Case of Mr. Poe – from January 6th
Christian Bale plays detective Augustus Landor in this Netflix film. Actually, Landor is already retired. After the heart is stolen from an alleged suicide corpse, the experienced investigator has to go back to work. Among other things, he meets a young cadet named Edgar Allan Poe (Harry Melling), who seems to have a strange interest in the investigation.
Call Me Chihiro – starting February 23
In fact, this Japanese feature film has nothing to do with the colorful Ghibli film – only the protagonists have the same name. This new Netflix film is about a former sex worker who now runs a bento stand in a quaint seaside town.
We Have A Ghost – from February 24th
In this celebrity-starring film – including Anthony Mackie, David Harbor and Jennifer Coolidge – a family discovers that a ghost named Ernest lives in their home and befriends him. However, when they try to find out something about Ernest’s past together, they suddenly find themselves in the CIA’s sights.
