Forspoken: A short guide to Cipal, Refuges and Belfries

Forspoken will take you to a huge world filled with dazzling locations and huge dangers. While you can expect to beat countless enemies and go all over the place, you will still need to find ways to speed up exploration. Here is our short guide Forspoken who will help you with the city of Sipal, shelters and bell towers.

Brief Forspoken guide: Cipal, Refuges and Belfries

Chipal

You will not be able to fast travel to Forspoken from the very beginning. Instead, you’ll have to follow a mostly simple campaign until chapter 3 when you get to the city of Sipal. This location acts as your main hub, as this is where you’ll meet various NPCs and complete a few side quests/detours. Naturally, it will also become unlocked as a fast travel point.

Shelters

While exploring Atia, seek shelter. These are abandoned houses that dot the world map (you can see one such example in the image). Upon entering, you will have access to this location as a fast travel point. Here are some more interesting facts about shelters in Forspoken :

  • Sleeping on a bed instantly restores your HP.
  • There is a workshop that allows you to create potions, increase the amount of potions / materials and improve equipment.
  • Some notes can lay around, adding some fluff and lore knowledge.
  • If you see a blue book with a blueprint of a house, it will show you nearby Vaults on the map. You still need to visit them for them to unlock as teleporters.
  • Speaking of books, you should notice another one on the shelf next to the bed. Interact with them to select spell trials to upgrade your spells.

Bell towers

Bell towers are another type of fast travel point in Forspoken . As soon as you approach one of them, they are marked as teleporters. Head to the center and use the cuff to scan (for example, the “X” key). This will give you a bird’s eye view of the zone, sort of like a sync in Assassin’s Creed . You can move the camera to see other points of interest in the subzone, which will later also be marked on your map.
