Fire Emblem Engage was the best-selling video game for the past week in UK stores.

The new exclusive game for Nintendo Switch has directly entered the top position of the charts, despite selling 31% less at its premiere than Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Despite this, it is the second best opening in the British market in the history of the franchise.

This week also highlights the enormous growth in sales of The Last of Us, evidently motivated by the premiere of the HBO television series. Sales of The Last of Us Part 1 for PlayStation 5 grew by 238%, while those of The Last of Us Remastered for PlayStation 4 did the same by 322%. Despite not entering the top ten, this allowed them to reach positions 20 and 32, respectively.

Another interesting fact is that the sales in stores like Amazon have caused a growth in the sales of certain titles. This is the case of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, whose sales grew by 104%, of Battlefield 2042, which increased by 177%, or of The Callisto Protocol, which rose by 83%.

Below we leave you the list with the ten best-selling video games in physical stores in the United Kingdom during the last week:
