Fire Emblem Engage: Corrupted Silver and Gold Explained

Fire Emblem Engage: Corrupted Silver and Gold Explained

If you’re looking for skirmishes on Fire Emblem Engage’s Overworld map, you might come across missions with corrupted silver and gold enemies. If you’re looking for the best rewards and materials, these are the skirmishes you want to find. While regular Skirmishes are great ways to level up units that may have fallen behind their peers and make some money in the process, Silver and Gold Corrupted will speed up those processes. Here’s what you need to know about Silver and Gold Corrupted enemies in Fire Emblem Engage battles.

What is the difference between damaged silver and gold in Fire Emblem Engage?

Silver and Gold Corrupts are special enemies found in skirmishes throughout the world of Fire Emblem Engage. Despite what the names might suggest, both species appear to be equally common. If a Skirmish contains any of these, a special warning will appear above the proposed level requirement and rewards.

Silver Corrupted enemies reward the unit that defeats them with bonus experience points and skill points, making them a great way to boost low-level characters or boost your favorite troops. Remember that only the character who performs the final fatal blow gets the bonus. It may be best to weaken them with a strong unit and let a weaker unit finish them off to maximize your gains.

Not necessarily rarer than their silver counterparts, gold-corrupted ones offer a completely different type of reward. Defeating a gold-corrupted enemy will net you a large sum of money if you kill them. While cash isn’t as useful as skill points, having some extra money makes it a lot easier to acquire gear, especially if you’ve recruited a ton of characters for your army.

Engage Fire Emblem is now available on Nintendo Switch.
